Our programs are designed to meet both spiritual and practical needs, helping individuals and families adapt, grow, and thrive in their new environments. With a focus on evangelism, financial literacy, employment, and mentoring, we aim to empower people with the skills and faith necessary for lasting transformation.

Business

Refugee Mentoring Program

Our Refugee Mentoring Program provides hands-on support to families and individuals as they adjust to life in the United States. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we guide refugees through essential tasks such as learning English, understanding American culture, and navigating everyday life. The program is designed to help families become self-sufficient and confident in their new surroundings.

Key Features:
  • Language support and cultural acclimatization

  • Assistance with public services, transportation, and schools

  • Navigating daily tasks like grocery shopping and understanding public spaces

  • Building long-term relationships for continued support

Volunteer Opportunity:
Volunteers commit a minimum of 2 hours per month to help guide refugee families.

Financial Literacy Program

Our Financial Literacy Program equips refugees and immigrants with the knowledge they need to navigate the U.S. financial system and build long-term financial stability. This five-week course teaches participants how to set financial goals, save for the future, create and stick to a budget, and build a positive credit history. We also provide personalized financial counseling for those in need of more targeted assistance.

  • Setting financial goals and developing smart spending habits

  • Building a credit history and understanding loans

  • Personalized counseling for taxes, loan applications, and financial planning

Employment Services Program

Finding meaningful employment is a crucial step toward self-sufficiency for refugees and immigrants. Our Employment Services Program offers guidance and resources to help individuals secure stable jobs and integrate into the workforce. From resume building to job application assistance, we provide comprehensive support throughout the employment process.

Key Features:

  • Resume writing and interview preparation

  • Assistance with job applications

  • Connecting participants to job opportunities in their local area

  • Guidance on professional conduct in the workplace

Volunteer Opportunity:
Professionals with experience in HR or recruitment can volunteer to assist participants in finding jobs and building their professional profiles.

Evangelism & Discipleship

At the heart of World Outreach Ministry is our dedication to spreading the Gospel and making disciples of Christ. Through our Discovery Bible Studies and Discipleship-Making Movements (DMM), we help individuals explore their faith and grow spiritually. Our evangelism efforts extend into refugee communities, where we help people connect with the Word of God and establish new house churches.

  • Discovery Bible Study groups for in-depth spiritual growth

  • Establishing "Households of Peace" for new believers

  • Training individuals to share their faith and create new disciples

  • Evangelism outreach events and community gatherings

Community Aid & Material Donations

World Outreach Ministry extends its compassion through practical support by providing essential items like furniture, household goods, and used cars to families in need. These donations help refugees and immigrants settle into their new lives with comfort and dignity. We also extend this support to refugee camps in Uganda and Djibouti, sharing resources and spreading the message of hope.

  • Providing furniture, household appliances, and cars to families in need

  • Donations distributed to refugee families in Fort Worth and St. Louis

  • Outreach to refugee camps in Uganda and Djibouti
