Who We Are
World Outreach Evangelism is a Christian ministry based in Fort Worth, Texas, dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples who, in turn, make disciples. Our mission is to bring the message of King Jesus to every corner of the world. We focus on empowering refugees, immigrants, and underserved communities through a holistic approach that integrates spiritual growth with practical support. In North America, we work especially among refugees, helping individuals and families adjust to new environments by providing the resources they need to thrive both socially and spiritually. Through acts of love, service, and evangelism, we share the hope of Christ, aiming to transform lives and communities.

Our
Story
Our Journey
The seeds of World Outreach Evangelism were planted in 2000 when our founder, Murama Rugumanya, served as a Christian leader at the National University of Rwanda. After relocating to the United States in 2002, Murama and his wife, Grace, continued their work with immigrant communities. In 2017, the ministry began taking shape in North Texas, focusing on refugees and immigrants from conflict-affected regions such as Congo, Syria, and Sudan.

By 2023, World Outreach Evangelism was formally registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and since then, we have expanded our reach, establishing home churches, mentoring programs, and community support initiatives. Through the grace of God, we have grown from a small effort into a thriving ministry that impacts lives across the United States and abroad.​
What We Do
At World Outreach Evangelism, we offer a range of services designed to empower refugees, immigrants, and underserved communities. Our holistic ministry focuses on spiritual, social, and economic uplift, helping individuals integrate into new communities while deepening their faith in Christ. Our key initiatives include:

Refugee Mentoring Programs: Helping families adjust to life in the U.S. through guidance on language, culture, and daily living.

Financial Literacy Programs: Teaching essential money management skills, helping individuals save and build capital for their future.

Employment Services: Providing job search assistance, including resume creation and job applications.

Evangelism & Discipleship: Leading Discovery Bible Studies and nurturing disciple-making movements to spread the Gospel and establish new house churches.
